Weed Eater Blades

Just because the motor or carburetor on your weed eater is still working just fine and your machine still purrs like it is brand new may not necessarily mean that you are operating at optimal functionality levels. More specifically, you will surely notice if you tend to need to go back over parts that you just swept over and you will also notice that the parts you already attempted to cut feature partially cut or halved weeds and undergrowth if your blades need to be replaced. Fortunately, weed eater manufacturers and makers account for this common problem and provide a wide range of weed eater blades that allow you to make quick and simple replacements without having to buy a completely new model.

When faced with having to make a choice of the best blades for your machine, you will see that you actually have several choices that include both plastic blades and metal blades (many other models feature a nylon cord but for the sake of this section we will not consider these as blades). Both of these types of blades are very effective and fairly inexpensive, but you will need to carefully consider what types of materials you will most often be attempting to cut through as the plastic blades are not strong enough to cut through materials much thicker than an inch wide. However, you may simply not need the strength of metal blades if you are simply cutting through weeds. In addition, the plastic blades will most likely provide you with the best option if you are looking to achieve very precise edging along sidewalks, driveways and landscape ties.
